The cause

No kid should go home to empty cupboards

Thousands of children in southern Ontario rely on school meal programs — and go home to nothing on weekends and through the summer. Food4Kids Hamilton packs and delivers food to these kids every week, funded entirely by donations.

August is their hardest stretch. School meal programs are gone, and the need doesn't take a holiday. That's why Jacob is walking.
